When you are not a nail technician, it is difficult to know everything about the nails and even less the different methods of nail application or kind of false nails. In this blog, we will tell you which technique should the false nails choose?
Resin nail application
Resin is a liquid glue that is applied with a brush. The resin is applied to the nail, the nail is then dipped in the powder and then coated with resin again. This technique doesn’t make it possible to lengthen the nail. One of the big advantages of resin is that it dissolves in acetone to remove it.
Acrylic nails application
Mixing acrylic powder with monomer liquid, which produces a small soft ball which you then simply apply to the nail and work in until the desired shape is obtained. The technician will then use millimeter templates placed around your nails to build the lengthening of the nail. The nail is not very flexible with this technique but it is very solid.
Gel nail application
The UV gel is applied directly to the nail, with the help of templates, to lengthen the nail. The gel doesn’t air dry, it needs to cure under a UV lamp, about 2 minutes between each coat. The gel leaves the nail quite flexible but to be solid the layer of gel must be thick enough.
The installation of Polygel
Polygel is a hybrid between gel and acrylic, which allows you to obtain the best of both. Just take a small ball of Polygel from the tube, apply it to the nail and work it with liquid to soften it and obtain the desired shape. The Polygel needs a UV or LED lamp to cure.
